What is a visitor pass management system?
A visitor pass management system replaces paper passes and handwritten registers with digital passes. Krypton pass management records every visitor, staff member, contractor and vehicle, and every entry, exit and movement.
How do visitors get a pass?
Hosts can invite visitors ahead, visitors can register at a self-service kiosk, and passes arrive as QR or SMS e-passes. Visits can need host or security approval before a pass is issued.
Can passes be limited to certain areas?
Yes. Each pass opens only the zones it allows, restricted persons on the watchlist are flagged and denied entry, and passes can open turnstiles and doors through access control.
Does it handle vehicles and contractors?
Yes. Vehicle entry permits are checked by number plate (ANPR), and contractors get their own passes, validity and rules, with long-term permits for regular staff.
